About Me

Hi, I'm Gina.

"Here I am, Lord send me
All of my life, I make an offering,
Here I am, Lord send me
Somehow my story is a part of Your plan,
Here I am"

(Here I Am- lyrics by Downhere)

The Facts
I am a very active wife, mother and business owner. My husband and I have a big blended family. Together we have 6 children. Ages 8 to 31.  I am a wedding planner and officiant which is a business I run from home. I love being a part of someone's most special day.
My husband is an airline pilot who is darling and sweet... and gone half the time.
Our oldest son, William, lives in Alaska.  Jennifer, is a YouTube sensation and rising star who just needs to be discovered.
We have a son, Jordan who is 20 and has Down Syndrome. He is truly a joy and will teach us more than we will ever teach him!
We have two 12 year old daughters that are sisters by marriage but they are best friends.
The youngest child, Isabelle, is known as, "the boss" and she is my "mini me"
We have a BIG black lab named... Tinkerbell.

The Truth
My story is filled with a lot of poor choices, pain and brokenness.  I learned most of my lessons the hard way.  I finally figured out that lessons are repeated until they are learned. By that time I was broken, bruised and beat down but Jesus met where I was;  In the dark and in the wilderness.  In Him I found the love and acceptance that I had been searching for all my life.  He picked me up off the ground and lifted my face.

This blog is a walk through it all.  You will find pieces of my story, the things I am passionate about, things I find beautiful, things I am a big failure at, and hopefully, little tidbits of things that make life better.

One of the things I have grown to love about blogging is community.  We all feel alone sometimes, but we aren't meant to do life alone.  We were created for relationship.
We rejoice together, cry together, and sometimes we carry each other.  When I write, it's not to preach.  It's because a) I need to hear it myself and b) because if anything I say helps even one person find their way... then it's all worth it.  I am in no way writing to say that I have it all together.  I just feel that because I pour my heart out to the Lord for answers, frequently He gives me words.  Sometimes they fall into an order that really speaks to me... and I hope it speaks to you too.

I pray for healed marriages, reconciled families, new friendships, and saved lives.

This blog is not just for the saved but also for the fallen.
Walk with me.  Talk with me.  Interact with me.

Here are some posts that might help you learn a bit more about me:

  1. Hi Gina,

God is good. My husband and I were looking for a wedding officiant to marry us in 2008 in Ocean Shores. I was working at World Vision at the time and was really busy we played phone tag for awhile but then you and I were able to talk. Our conversation of family and blended family sticks out in my mind and I wanted to thank you for your time. Tho we did not choose to marry here in Washington. Long story short Chad and I decided to get married in Hawaii without our children.
So now 2 years later I find you on Seattle Mom Blogs. I love your blog and I am so glad that I have the opportunity to speak with you again.

    Blessings,
    Jeanie Cullip
